FAQ

Q:
What is Syfonix?
A:
Through its patent pending technology, Syfonix provides content creators the ability to monetize content which they post to YouTube, Facebook/Instagram Stories and Reels, and TikTok. It’s easy to monetize your content - just use Syfonix music in the content you post.
Q:
How do I monetize my YouTube videos with Syfonix?
A:
To monetize your YouTube videos, download the Syfonix track that you want to use in a video. Use the track in a video you create (make sure to use at least 30 seconds of the Syfonix track). After posting your video on your YouTube channel, copy the link to your YouTube video and paste it on the track title page in your Syfonix account. You can get to the track title page by clicking on the track title or by navigating through the “My Tracks” page.
Q:
How do I add a Syfonix track to a video I want to post on YouTube?
A:
There are several ways to do this and a quick search online should help you find different methods of creating videos with music. For instance, on an iPhone, you can use iMovie to combine a video you have recorded on your phone with a Syfonix track you have downloaded. Once your video contains a Syfonix track, you can upload it to YouTube. YouTube’s Content ID system will detect the Syfonix track and you will be monetized anytime YouTube places ads before or during your video as well as whenever a YouTube Premium subscriber views your video.
Q:
How do I know if YouTube has detected the Syfonix track in my video?
A:
When YouTube detects the Syfonix track in your video, you will see the song title added to the information section which appears under your YouTube video. This should happen within 24 hours of uploading your video which contains the Syfonix track. If a couple days have passed and YouTube has not detected the Syfonix track in your video, email us at info@syfonix.com with the words “Content ID” in your subject.
Q:
When will YouTube start putting ads on my video?
A:
It is difficult to predict exactly when YouTube will begin to place ads before or during your video. Most likely, videos which are receiving more views will trigger the ads to begin running. Even if your YouTube channel does not qualify for monetization, you will still be able to have your videos monetized through Syfonix when you use Syfonix tracks. Your video will will also generate revenue each time it is viewed by a YouTube Premium subscriber.
Q:
How do I monetize my posts on Facebook/Instagram Stories and Reels, or TikTok?
A:
Search for “Syfonix” in the audio libraries provided by TikTok and Facebook/Instagram (Reels and Stories). Choose one of the Syfonix track to use in your post and then copy a link to your post. Return to your Syfonix account and make sure to add the title of the track you used to your Syfonix account (you can click on the track title from the home page to get to the title page). Once you have added the track to your account, paste the link from your post into your Syfonix account. You will make a little money each time you post a TikTok, Facebook/Instagram Story or Reel that uses a Syfonix track.
Q:
Can I make a lot of money by monetizing through Syfonix?
A:
On YouTube you can make a lot - especially if one or more of your videos go viral. Some YouTubers make six figures a year through Youtube and potentially you can too by monetizing with Syfonix. On Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok, you will get paid a little for each video you post, but the amount you potentially can make will not be as much as with YouTube.
Q:
If YouTube eventually qualifies my channel for monetization through their Partner Program, can I just monetize my videos directly through Youtube instead of Syfonix?
A:
Yes. Any videos you have been monetizing through Syfonix can be switched over to our subscription service which allows you to use a Syfonix track in a video for $1.00/month. Then we switch off Syfonix monetization and you will be able to monetize directly through YouTube as a member of their Partner Program. Just email us at info@syfonix.com and include the word “subscription” in your subject.
Q:
What if I want to use a Syfonix track for other projects besides my social media posts?
A:
Email us at info@syfonix.com and we will be glad to help get you the proper license for your intended use. Include the word “license” in your subject line.
Q:
Can I rap or sing on top of these Syfonix beats and share them to my social media?
A:
Yes, and you will be monetized through Syfonix as well.
Q:
How often will I get paid?
A:
We get paid quarterly from YouTube and Tiktok. Facebook/Instagram are currently taking longer. After receiving these payments, we will issue payments into your PayPal or Venmo accounts. The payments will be reported on the “my earnings” page of your Syfonix account.
Q:
I am enjoying these Syfonix tracks and was wondering if Syfonix will be adding more tracks to its library.
A:
We are continually expanding our music library. We are looking to represent as many musical genres as possible with high quality music.
Q:
I am a producer/composer and I would like my music to be added to the Syfonix catalog. Is that possible?
A:
We are interested in hearing what kind of music you create. Please email MP3s or links to your music to submissions@syfonix.com.
Q:
Are there other companies besides Syfonix that can monetize my content?
A:
No. Syfonix is able to monetize your content through its patent pending technology. In the future, other companies may be able to offer Syfonix’s monetization service by licensing our patent pending technology. For more information, email us at info@syfonix.com with the subject “patent pending technology”.
Q:
What are the rules on copyright claims and copyright strikes on YouTube?
A:
Syfonix claims the music on YouTube videos, but this does not cause a copyright strike. This is because Syfonix has chosen to monetize the videos that contain Syfonix tracks. You do not ever need to worry that using Syfonix tracks will cause a copyright strike. More Information on Google’s policy concerning copyright strikes vs. copyright claims can be found here: (https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/7002106?hl=en)
